My preschool friend and his family went missing and no one knows where he went AMA

Story told to me by the preschool teacher years later: I had a very good friend when I was very young thats call him Tim as I do not want to use his real name, Tim and I were very close, we hung out everyday in preschool. one day he never returned, now many would say he just moved but NO, the preschool tried to locate Tim as he did not show up to school and was not called in absent, this lead to staff going to the home and seeing what was happing as no-one answered the phone, the house was completely empty, the next door neighbor said they upped and left in the night, the police were called as people were also looking for the mum and dad as they did not show up to work.

No one knows where they went, where they are or why they left, as far as people in the community know, they had no debt the parents had good high paying jobs and were well respected members of the community - they just vanished
