Little to NO PROGRESS after 3m. Started at 30mg, increased to 40, then 50 - still on 50. I only have 3 months of treatment (nov, Dec, Jan) then i would have reached max dose. HELP!

Treatment details: 50mg is max considering my weight. According to my derm, i need to stop after January because i would have reached the cumulated dose (so i have 6m of treatment. Started in August 30mg; September 40mg; Oct and Nov 50mg.

I see very little improvement, no idea what im doing wrong. My skin is not very dry, i could go to sleep or wake up and not put cream if i wanted. The skin is not dry, flaky or tense Should i add something in my routine, like tretinoin, azelaic, BHA AHA etc? Today i use an oil clense, LRP gentle clense, and a hydration cream from Ducray special for dry skin undergoing acne treatment. Since my skin is not that dry i sometimes use Benzoyl Peroxide clenser (once a week). Can it be from the products i use?

did your Derm recommend something else with isotretinoin?

If i see no further improvement next month (December, 5th month of treatment, 3rd month on 50mg) i will add an antibiotic my dermatologist recommended - but im not a fan of antibiotics and only take them if it’s absolutely necessary, i would do anything to avoid antibiotics.
