CT Toys
I know people have valid legal/ethical worries about CT Toys but as a broke boi collector from the UK, this is the closest I’ll ever get to owning real mafex products, and they’ve really changed the way I look at action figure collecting. I no longer feel like I’m a slave to the hasbro pre-order machine, and I actually get to push this figures into decent poses because I’m not worried about breaking a figure I know I can replace. My favourite line before these was GI Joe Classified and Marvel Legends, but after breaking the arm off my ML final swing spidey, looking for a replacement had me stunned. A figure that I know breaks easily now sells for upwards of £50 in the UK after-market. How is this sustainable? How are these mass-produced toys in such short supply? Thank you CT Toys for reminding me that these are just toys and not some sacred relic that I need gloves to handle.
