Advice needed

Hey guys!

I just started act 3 in my first playthrough and I’ve been faking it til i make it for the last 2 acts.

I kinda want to jump ship and start a new game and actually play it right but I can’t find a straight answer anywhere

1) I think I’ve been missing a lot of cutscenes? Especially romance. I romanced Astarion and after the tiefling party where we got it on, there have been no more romantic scenes or interactions other than when he asked if we want to do it again at some point during act 2 which I said yes to. Is there a way to trigger more romance scenes/general cutscenes at long rests or do I just have to wait?

2) Where do I find good armor and weapons? Is it just looting corpses or should I find some quests that give me good stuff?

(I’m also a massive sucker for cosmetics so maybe I should just google where to find cute outfits (?) idk 😅)

3) last thing —- before I jump ship, do my companions hate me for becoming 1/2 ilithid? Maybe I missed a way to resist taking the tadpole in the astral plane but that wisdom roll was crazy high and I didn’t see another way. They all seemed kinda hesitant when I talked to them about it after that at camp and I’m a total people pleaser so I’m worried if it will change our relationship down the line.

i think my main concern is that I’m missing out on a bunch of stuff/dialogue that I’ve been seeing clips of on tiktok and yt. The long rest system confuses me lol. I’ll also do more research into cantrip/spell builds for my characters bc they all kinda suck lmao. Any help/advice is much appreciated!
