Please help ASAP

I’m freaking out. I’m a travel nurse, I was exposed to bed bugs at work about a month and a half ago. Last week I started getting bites and didn’t realize what it was and after waking up I have so many more. I can’t find any bugs but tbh I’m not looking that hard because I’m already freaking out because I feel like I 100% have them and terrified of bugs. I called so many exterminators but many can’t come until next week…. I can’t even sleep today (I’m nightshift and have already been up for 24 hours). I’m literally not going to be able to sleep. So my questions are I’m at a short term apartment, do I text my landlord now and tell him? The one place said he’d have to call to set up an inspection. I kinda wanted to wait until I for sure knew I had them and set up something to get rid of them before I told him I infested his apartment with bedbugs. How does that typically work with work? Do people take off until resolved? Since I got them at work does that matter at all? Please any insight or advice would be appreciated I’m DYING.
