Inconsistency is Driving Me Crazy

Anyone else have inconsistent bite patterns when dealing with bedbugs? ?

I’ve been suspicious of bb but no solid evidence found YET (i.e molts, poop traces, blood spots) since mid December especially since I am only seeing bites on my baby (husband and I do react to bite but we haven’t seen any on us for over 6 weeks) . I want to assume they may be nesting elsewhere especially if I’m not seeing the solid evidence in her bassinet for all this time.

Longest stretch of no bites on baby was 2 weeks and even then looking back at pictures of her previous bites my mind is convinced we have them.

What else can I look for? I’m afraid it’s going to get worse and add more stress than it already does now.
