Suitcase use???

We recently had bedbugs (😭) but I think the treatment worked and we are free of them now (🤞🏼).

Pretty sure we got them from a holiday. The suitcase we used has been in the garage since October 2024 and I forgot to treat it. I’ve inspected it thoroughly for bugs and can’t see any.

Can I assume the suitcase is safe to use if it was indeed the original contaminant?
