Excessive security and now locked account

I don’t know if this is happening with anyone else. In October I started having to confirm my phone number with a code EVERY SINGLE TIME I opened the app. Even if it was two seconds ago I have to get a code. As of yesterday my husband and I got locked out for 24 hours because due to too many codes. Why is there a limit on how many times I can access my money? It’s literally my money. I appreciate the security, but it’s at a point where it is accessive. Within the span of 23 minutes I had to get a code 10 times because I was going back and forth from the app to pay bills, and each time I returned, it made me request and put in another code. If they are going to verify me, then let me into my account. If not, then don’t keep verifying me. Is anyone else having this issue.

Also, I spoke to them about it and they said there was nothing they could do.
