Cozy coffeehouse on the East Side? I've already checked past Reddit recs, but all the good places are on the West Side, plus Couchland Coffee in Wickliffe, which is *too* east. Is there someplace comfy, not too sharp or brightly-lit, for ladies' coffee hour tomorrow?

We've bounced around Rising Star, On the Rise Fairmount, and Luna for our weekly coffee (that usually ends up being every other week, but that's life with kids and jobs). All of those places are nice, have good coffee, and often really spectacular baked goods (I'm looking at you, Luna Luna cake and On the Rise pumpkin eclairs).

But they're not quite what I'm looking for. I want a spot with incandescent-style lighting, a warm feel, a nice coffee-and-cream smell, with sofas or slightly-dodgy old wooden chairs, maybe a stray booth or two. Is there something I've overlooked? I feel like it can't really be the case that the West Side has a monopoly on cozy, comfy coffeehouses that don't seem to be trying too hard.

Any recommendations? Or are we destined to continue our quick-life-break coffees in places with delicious snacks and delightful drinks but sterile, loud, and/or cold ambiences?

Thank you in advance, Cleveland Reddit!
