Installer will not launch

Recently for whatever reason the launcher would not launch and the shortcut randomly disappeared, looking in deeper I found all traces of the program were removed from my pc. at first I thought it'd just be a simple fix, just run the install right? the icon pops up on the taskbar but no installer window opens. A bit odd but I just let it run for a bit hoping it was just lagging. after 2 hours I decided to close and grab a fresh version of the installer and even tried to directly install overwolf first, neither worked, I restarted my pc for the 3rd time or so, checked for windows updates, checked my antivirus logs to see what may have happened, nothing in the logs.

so basically I don't have any error codes, the program both Curseforge and Overwolf are completely gone from my system and the installers will not work no matter what version I try

I also tested installers for other programs which worked fine
