This might be insanely controversial, and most probably I'd get downvoted to hell, but...

Every time I play a Sayori-focused mod (as in, Sayori is the only option in this mod), I get inexplicable amounts of hate towards it. Now, A VERY IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER - I have nothing against Sayori herself, but I do have a lot against Sayori modders. And it gets even worse when Monika is self-aware, because these mods solely rely on "Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Monke bad, bad character, bad, she's a root of all evil, come on, Sayori, my precious cinnamon bun, I'll defend you at all costs!!1!" as if Sayori can't stand up for herself. Moreover, modders tend Sayori to be extremely weak-willed, limp and completely gutless, much like mc in act 2. And the more mc/Player cares for her, the more limp she will be

Now, I get that in the vanilla ddlc Monika messes with Sayori a lot, driving her to suicide - so hecking what? Monika messed with Yuri and Natsuki as well, but I don't remember that many mods in which either of the two girls were so defenseless against Monika, if any (New Eyes and Storm doesn't count since it's basically vanilla but from a different perspective - I'm talking about "mods that aren't in any way affiliated with Team Salvato" yet the conflict between girls and Monika is pretty much the same)

And now I have a very important question to all Sayori modders - why? Why do you depict Sayori as completely weak-willed piece of garbage who can't ever stand for herself so mc/player has to stand for her?
