Joining Navy/Air Force?

As someone who doesn’t particularly love dentistry, I’ve been thinking about doing a career change. However, all the other jobs I’m looking at only pay about $50-70k/year. As a single person on my own, I feel like it’s going to be impossible to get a mortgage, support myself, and pay back my student loans.

I have this idea to join the military, Air Force or Navy, and just switch to a non-dentistry career within the military. I remember in dental school hearing that the bootcamp for dental students was “easier” because you enter as an “officer”.. would this still apply if I’m already a dentist? For those who have gone through this “easier” bootcamp, what were the physical requirements? Did you have to stand all day?
