Want to get into Artificer but I'm not really good with confusing and complicated stuff.

Hey I am still a fairly new player, I have already played a few campaigns and have the basics down. Recently I thought I could try out the Artificer some time soon. But there's a problem and that is that I have sometimes trouble concentrating and remembering stuff, which is really quite annoying to the people I play with, and I heard the Artificer comes with lots of little things that one needs to keep in mind and take into consideration all the time. Here's my question, is there an easy way to play an Artificer, one that doesn't depend on me having to concentrate so hard and memorize so many little things? Like a beginner friendly Artificer.

Note for my own peace of mind: Please don't ask or make assumptions as to why I have trouble concentrating, I know the reason and it is not important for the question I'm asking.
