What do you guys allow for changelings?

Idk if this is the right flair, it isn’t a dispute yet but I’m curious.

My dm is allowing me to be a changeling wizard, we start in a couple days and should be having a session 0 tomorrow. I read up on the lore and saw that changelings usually have entirely different personas depending on their different form, so I decided to have some fun with it and give my guy 4 “personas.” He’s not crazy or anything, I’m honestly still trying to figure it out. What do you guys usually do for changelings? It says it’s rare to see them in their normal, pale featureless forms, but I’m kinda new to dnd so idk if that kind of lore can just be completely ignored and not explained

I’m mainly asking because like… what’s the point of the different personas? It also says on the page that they have different forms and personas for different activities, like negotiating, interrogating, etc. but have you guys ever had DMs that would let your changeling get an intimidation boost if he shapeshifted into a big scary race?

Like I gave my guy a couple personas, a big firebolg, a ragged looking goblin, an elegant high elf, and a standard human. Would I be weird for asking him if any of those would get a special modifier for anything? Again, super new to dnd. But is the shapechange trait only useful for deception or can I get any other bonuses out of it depending on the dm?

Also just like, what do you DO for a changeling? Do you guys give a bunch of different personas? Do you let him just walk around in his pale form?
