I just beaten morgott am I over leveled?

At the start, I was aiming for an Intelligence and Faith build, so I put 24 points into both. Then I realized these stats were mainly for magic, which I didn’t want to use. The problem was, I didn’t know I could respec with Rennala, so instead of resetting my stats, I used the bird farm to grind runes and switch to a Strength/Dex build. But since that made me way too overleveled, I dumped a bunch of points into Arcane—just to nerf myself and keep the game balanced.

I just beat Morgott after an hour and ten minutes and he was weaker than Radahn even though I was over leveled for caelid. Does that mean I was actually at a good level, or did I make the fight harder or am I just getting really good at the game?
