Thoughts on Building a Personal Brand?
First I understand that a lot of "make money online" people make this whole sector come across as shady or sleezy but, try to hear me out please.
I'm a huge fan of Alex Hormozi and he recommended record everything and build a brand, try to help the next person get to where you are even faster.
I have nothing to sell like a course or business model or what ever. The only monetization I could get other than ads would be sales from my actual businesses (solar, roofing, tree service, marketing).
I'm not really wanting to promote anything, atleast not for a very long time. I make more than enough off my businesses (really it's just my sales) to where I'm very comfortable.
There are a few issues I immediately see with starting this:
1) I don't know how - just like with business I assume I can essentially Google everything and learn enough to start learning on the job within a week. I am just unsure of the quality I will provide.
2) My story isn't great - I am from a low income drug house, learned basic business there. Dropped out of college to go to the military, came back, got into sales and about 10 failed businesses and a lot of lost friends later here I am.
3) No grand claim - I see that most people come in say "How to make a million dollars a month!". I can't do that my best month ever was 30k and that was from me doing the sales
4) I want to talk about personal finance first then branch into business - that is how I got started but I feel like it seems dumb to people. Especially with the ideology of "I'll start saving when I make more money."
As far as actionable steps I could take, I was thinking of filming YouTube content 2 videos a week and daily Facebook posts and daily short form content.
So roast the idea but, please make it constructive for me. I've been thinking about this for a while (I'm just not to bright lol).
