Exam prep a few years after Undergrad
Hi All, looking for some advice (particularly from anyone who went up to the Inn/sat FE1s a few years after completing undergrad).
I graduated with my LLB in 2019, since then I’ve been working in corporate banking so my working knowledge of commercial/Company law is still up to scratch.
I feel, however, that my knowledge of the core entrance exam subjects (Criminal, Constitutional, Land etc) has wained, particularly given new developments and case law in these areas since I would have last studied these subjects.
I know that there are prep courses through City College etc. but I’m not confident that these short prep courses would be sufficient to correct any deficiencies or gaps that have arisen in my knowledge since graduating.
Does anyone have any tips on how to go about preparing for the entrance exams? Has anyone else had a gap between undergrad and sitting the exams and, if so, how did you go about “refreshing” your legal knowledge and how long did it take you until you felt you were ready to sit the exams?
