Start playing Fallout, where to start?

Hello!

Ive always seen fallout throughout my life but never tried it out. Let’s say some releases have scared me off. But now some time has passed so i assume most games is in good shape!

Anyway the series got me to really like the universe so i want to try out the game series. Done some googling and the results vary alot.. So i wanted your take on it.
