Can I learn Flesh and Blood in 2 weeks?

I recently stumbled upon this TCG at my local gamestore. I have never heard of it before and have no idea how to play. However, I saw that the store is also hosting a pre-release event for The Hunted. I kind of want to sign up because the spots are far from filled up and think it would be cool (and who doesn't want some promos for their possibly new collection?).

Would it be possible to somewhat learn the game in 2 weeks or would I just be annoying at the event? (I mean free win for someone right?) I won't be at a card disadvantage either because decks are formed from the 8 packs + promo (I think?)

So, should I attend even if I get destroyed? (It's 40 pounds to participate, store in Worcester UK)
