Anyone know how to make your creative writing better??

I really like writing but Ik my writing isn’t all that good I want to have a wide range of vocabulary but idk how I js cba to read book in person but if it’s online I will anyways I’ve got an English creative writing mock coming up which I want to do well in anyone have any tips/suggestions on how to improve my writing in a short period of time??
