Theory: The Tsaritsa will use a Claymore.

Now I know what you're thinking.

u/Gregamonster, what are you going on about. The Tsaritsa is like four continents away. How could you possibly know what she's going to use?

And you're right, that is a long time to wait till it's confirmed. But I think we have more than enough information to make that judgment now.

Consider our existing Archons.

• Venti is able to create his own wind gusts on command.
• Zhongli has an OP Shield.
• Raiden Shogun is a walking energy orb machine.

These line up perfectly with their element's respective resonances.

• Anemo increases movement speed, decreases stamina consumption, and shortens cooldowns
• Geo increases shield strength and empowers shielded characters.
• Electro makes extra energy orbs from Electro reactions.

So it stands to reason that any future Archon's kit will reflect their respective resonance.

Cryo's resonance increases the crit rate against frozen enemies and enemies effected by Cryo.

So if the Cryo Archon is designed around this resonance, she'll have a high crit rate. But perhaps more importantly, she'll be designed to maximize damage against frozen targets specifically.

Frozen is a unique reaction because not only does it stop a target from moving, it creates an opening for a second reaction: Shattered.

Shattered occurs when a frozen enemy is hit with a blunt attack, which any attack from a claymore will provide. Shattered breaks the target out of frozen, and deals a sizable amount of damage.

However, under normal circumstances, the Shattered reaction can not be a critical hit.

An attack from the Cryo Archon herself is not a normal circumstance.

I believe The Tsaritsa will be a Cryo Claymore unit with a passive that will allow her Shattered attacks to be critical hits. Perhaps even guaranteeing that they crit.

This would make her the best character there is at dealing crits to frozen enemies, putting her in line with the other archons.
