What to do with this awkward space in the kitchen
Basically the title, I’ve included photos of the area itself and the layout. We have a weird space between the pantry (left of the fridge) and the cabinets on the right. I want to find some way to connect the two so it doesn’t look so disjointed. The pantry sticks out about 4 inches farther than the cabinets so I can’t connect them with cabinets without one sticking out farther than the other.
We were thinking floating shelves, but the shelves would need to come out pretty far for it to look normal in my opinion. Has anyone else come across this problem? Any ideas? Am I overthinking this lol?
The pantry really doesn’t have anywhere else to go in the kitchen other than switched with the fridge.
