vocal jazz recommendations for a newbie?

hi all! i am kind of new to jazz and looking for recommendations. i like a lot of the popular jazz vocalists, especially chet baker (i loveeee chet) but am curious if anyone has any lesser known recommendations that i am missing out on! i also love bossa and like japanese jazz-adjacent music — so i am open to anything! maybe something on the chiller side, but not necessarily.
