The problem with Kenyans is that we accept mediocrity
As this fake advocate story of Brian Mwenda is unfolding, I'm not surprised that most Kenyans see nothing wrong with it, and they're defending him.
Some are even calling for him to be admitted to the bar with no law degree and KSL diploma. While we're at it, we should also recognize quack doctors, engineers, architects, pilots, nurses and magistrates.
I've also noticed that social media doesn't care about fact-checking. That story of him winning 26 cases within 1 year is bullshit, but most people with no legal experience already believe it.
Kenya's biggest problem is not political. It's a value system failure where the citizens support mediocrity instead of excellence.
