Staff Meals

I am curious how many kitchen staff (FoH not included please, that varies too much in my experience) Are allowed a free staff meal on shift/take home(that's what I tend to do) ? Wether it's only certain items or under a certain limit.

If you don't. How come you choose to stay there ?
