Wife accidentally sent old nudes from when we were underage to photo print shop and now they won't return calls
My wife took a backup of photos from our drive to be professionally printed into a set of albums for anniversary gift. This was a long list of photos going back to when we were first dating and was supposed to be a collection from the years.
Wife didnt hear back from photo shop and went to check. They refused to return calls and when she went in she said she managed to push for an answer from staff saying they werent legally allowed to print the photos and theyd been sent away due to company policy.
Ive escalated up the chain and they still wont give a proper answer but I have gone through the drive where my wife took the backup from for our photos and think Ive found the problem as we have photos from all the way back when we were first dating. Wife and I are in our mid 20s and have 1 kid who is just starting school
We have been together since school 10+ years ago. Went through a lot. Married 5 years ago and have 1 child who started school this year. Things were sexual while we were under 16 and we did share some photos in school and college that I have found still in the drive. I had forgotten about them but think the library tool I used on my machine mustve automatically sorted them into our 201X folder and they just got missed because theres so many. Its obvious we were underage when the photos were taken and is explicit as it has us both undressed and doing things with each other.
I dont know if the police are getting involved or not. My wife didnt give an address as it was all booked through the store but they have her contact details. I dont want to wake up one day to police outside and my wife is panicking thinking we are going to get raided and police would smash in door as we have indoor cats that would escape, lose our child and we would have job problems because we both work and I go through background checks as part of my security clearance.
What is the best way to get in control of this? What should we do? Not sure we can afford a solicitor right now. England UK
