EBIKE related Question: Is the Santa Cruz Heckler still "good" in 2024?
So since a lot of new Ebikes and Motors are coming out, there seems to be a surplus in the stock for "older" Ebikes.
I found a new Santa Cruz Heckler CC / X01 AXS / RSV on sale (5799€) and am itching to buy it ;)
It´s the current model which still hast the "old" Shimano EP8 Motor.
My question would be: do you think given the huge discount (44%) and the quality of component (Fox Factory, Carbon Wheel, etc..) it's still a good bargain?
Even if I would stop riding it sometime in the future, I probably would swap some of the Components to my non-ebikes.
Intendet use: I love riding bikes and own several of them. I have not other Ebike but would usw this one to get to my local trails and ride them (about 25mins by bike with lots of elevation to get there + 20mins back). Especially with having small kids my window of bikingtime is very small, so I would like to make the most out of it. Having the motor would significantly increase my time on the Trails (usual window about 1,5h).
I would really like to hear your opinions on that. Cheers!
