Straight to clinic or GP first?

Hi people,

I’ve been a user of cannabis for almost 7 years on and off and have been buying off dodgy dealers in car parks for too long haha. I want to get a prescription for muscle spasms from exercise and also mental peace.

I live in Auckland. Would it be as simple as going to a clinic like Calyx and purchasing the consultation, submitting the answers, receiving a prescription and then choosing a pharmacy like Chemist Warehouse or Unichem to pick up?

I want to avoid my GP as I know she’s been against cannabis for a number of years. Is it possible to skip this process?
