What happens in the event that the administration orders U.S. forces to support Russia in its war with Ukraine, 'as a means to end the war'?

Halting us military aid seems inevitable at this point. Lifting sanctions feels likely. Sharing intelligence with Russia seems wild to consider but certainly plausible for this administration. Ordering U.S. forces to join the fight - should be totally nuts right?
