Skins not showing to other players.p

Every time I wear a custom skin, it appears as Steve, Alex, or the weird new default Minecraft characters they add, Even though I can see my custom skin, My friend can’t. “Only Allow Trusted Skins” is off, too. I don’t get it, What do I do? (Minecraft Mobile/Pocket edition)
