Starting with Guardian a+ Armor (new player)

So I just started playing today,and saw that i could pick an armor called Guardian a+, which game recommended,but it feels too op so i was wondering, is it okay if I just swap it with a Leather Armor or would it be better to start a new game without the Guardian a+ armor ?
