What is actually missing from this team, and what can happen to achieve it?

I’m seeing a lot of different takes. “It’s OG/Mikal’s fault, we traded or paid too much to get them,” “We have no bench, we need to trade,” “Thibs is running everyone to the ground.” Whether it’s this year or the years after, what do you think genuinely needs to happen for this team to be at contention level?
