Nails by @atelier_nail_studios - how to identify and ask my own tech for this style?

I was told by one that these are just ombré dip, and another said they were cat eye. I am super new to getting nails done so am learning as I go. What is this style, and how can I phrase it so my new nail tech knows what to do? I showed her the photos and she said she didn’t know what the process was called even though I have seen similar styles on her ig (not atelier nails). There is a language barrier as well, and I am glad she is being so patient with me
