Hours owed

If a trust is looking at hours owed from staff, how far back can they recover time from? Some people could owe time from 2020, maybe further. Seems like something the unions might have something to say about! I appreciate that it is unworked time but it wouldn't really be the HCAs fault or responsibility, so it feels quite harsh.

I guess I'm just interested to know! Thanks for any help or advice.
