losing weight but still anovulatory

I (23F) was diagnosed with PCOS in april of this past year, since then, I have done a few different things. Currently, I am undergoing a three month “trial” of xulane, in hopes of getting my body to ovulate and stop anovulatory bleeding because honestly, it was getting to be a lot, going from 71 day cycles to 36 day cycles and then 15 day cycles… how?!

I’ve lost ~30 lbs (203 lbs to 172.2 lbs - I’ve always been a more muscular girl in my legs) since July 31st, the only change I made since then other than the xulane patches is the increase in dosage of my anxiety meds (Bupropion: which is multipurposeful i guess 🤷🏼‍♀️ - treats anxiety, depression, can help with attention deficits and I believe it is used off label in some diabetic patients).

I’m very happy about this weight loss, acne lessening and overall improved lab work, however, I don’t understand why my weight loss hasn’t improved my anovulation issue. Anyone have any knowledge on this or a similar experience?
