If you struggle with mana as a spell caster, consider Considered casting
The gem says it gives 40% more dmg and 15% less cast speed
This results to a total 19% more dmg increase AND 15% less mana cost because you cast the spell 15% less
It's basically Inspiration Lite with more dmg and less mana cost
Also it doesnt have any additional cost multiplier
