NIST SURF Application closed before deadline?

I started my NIST application, but spent like a couple days writing my Personal Statement and asking people for rec letters. Once I finished I went back to submit and it says it closed Jan 22nd... But the deadline says Jan 31st on the website?? They also removed the application links on their website... Kind of bummed I spent so much time on the application and reading about the projects :(

I sent an email, but does anyone know what's going on?

Update: They announced on their website that they've paused applications, and I think there's a pause on the program in general... https://www.nist.gov/surf
