Pet insurance round up - the numbers

Hello,

What are folks across the country paying for Pet Insurance? This is not a debate about if insurance is worth it, we all know that if an emergency hits, insurance rocks. However, I’ve watched prices skyrocket over the past several years*. I’d like to see what others are paying.

Nationwide Whole Pet Wellness Plan (no longer offered), paid yearly in California:

Rabbit #1 (not healthy)

2022: ~$600

2023: TBD

Rabbit #2 (very healthy)

2022: $381.41

2023: $861 (!)

*I think they’re trying to kick my pet off the old plan. Nationwide claims the change is to adjust for cost of living in California. They increased the price on a pet that goes to the vet once a year for a routine check up. No other medical issue. Anyone else getting this number?
