SPT Development

I've spent the past week or so writing my own little mod (nothing to show off yet), and in that time I've started delving away from looking through the spaghetti code that is Tarkov, and started looking at the SPT Server itself.

All I have to say is... holy shit.

The sheer effort required to reverse engineer and develop a backend for EFT; plus for it to be so well organised is amazing. It must have been a mind fuck to get to this point, it is seriously something that needs more recognition.

Im all for celebrating modders and all that, but the foundation that is SPT-AKI is pretty damn impressive from a non-commercial open source perspective.
