France VFS Los Angeles visa timeline

Just wanted to share my experience getting French visa from VFS in LA:

April 23rd - had the appointment at the VFS office and submitted all the docs. Same day received two notifications: application submitted and application dispatched to the VFS for processing

April 27th - Your visa application ref no fra1 has been received at Washington Operation center for processing.

May 8th - two notifications back to back: Your visa application ref no fra1 has been dispatched to the Embassy of France in USA for processing. Visa application ref no fra1 is under process at Embassy of France in USA.

May 9th - three notifications and fedex tracking started to work: Processed application fra1 is in transit from the Embassy of France in USA to the Washington Operation center. Processed application ref no fra1 is received at Washington Operation center. Processed  application ref no fra1 has been dispatched via courier on 09/05/2024. Your UPS tracking number is <AWB>

May 10th - received my passport with 6 month visa via fedex. Had to be home to sign for delivery.

Hopefully this helps someone who was stressed like me about the visa timeline and notifications :)
