I’m doubting a sky kid/player friend

So I’ve been playing Sky for some weeks now and made an abundance of friends here and there — they’re amazing. However, there is this particular sky friend whom I’ve been friends with for nearly 2 weeks or several days now. Let’s call her Pie (Fake Name). Whenever I’m done or in a middle of my dailies within my playtime in sky, Pie and I would TP to each other (vice versa) to help or chat around. This went on for days and my experience in this acquaintance has been normal and great. But as days went on and I’ve also been making new friends and helping others out, Pie would TP to me or be in the same server as me and would always hide a bit far from me ‘chatting’ with a certain friend named ‘Sarah’ or ‘Sash’. I was weirded out because when I was approaching Pie, I see no sky kid with her — no default unlit sky kid, no trace of a player nearby her — nothing. It’s like Pie is pretending to be talking to someone, literally no one is there. This went on for days and I’ve wondered “Is this is a bug or issue within the game?” I don’t think so. I’ve asked Pie a couple of times who she’s talking to and would like to make an acquaintance with them too, but I don’t even see a chat bubble from that ‘Sarah’ or ‘Sash’. I may be fairly new, but I know for a fact you can see chat bubbles but will show as dots and a hyphened label of the sky kid as “Anonymous”. This Pie friend also claimed to be a veteran and has been playing for 5 years, stopped for 2 years and came back. I’ll list down the incidents to why I’m doubting this sky kid. I’m hoping for anyone to maybe help me on this because I’ve had my fair share of unintentionally befriending attention seekers in my life. 😭

1) The old spawn before Aviary: Pie would hide in the igloo thing where we currently see granny crocheting a scarf. Idk why she would hide and she would randomly talk to ‘Sarah’ or ‘Sash’ and say that she missed her and her other ‘friends’. I would slowly sneak towards the Igloo to see a full glimpse on maybe I was wrong about my suspicions — still no sky kid beside her or near her — the afk players aren’t even responding to her + no chat bubble appearing that would look like ‘Sarah’ or ‘Sash’ is responding to her.

2) Every time I approach her when I see that she’s ‘talking’ to someone, she’d immediately chat out “Oh nooo don’t leave me”, “She left :(((“ or “Please don’t leave me again”. Similar statements like that. Happens nearly all the time.

3) She’s suddenly okay when she’s around this player who only has a few winged lights on themselves. So I got suspicious thinking Pie is being pretentious with her alt account.

4) I go to certain islands such as the Valley of the Triumph (I love taking pictured there) and the Golden Wasteland (Lots of music sky kids are there and I like to listen their stuff). I noticed how Pie would TP to me but won’t even interact with me, instead, she started hiding and being far from me and talking to this said ‘Sarah’ or ‘Sash’ again.

5) I just opened sky and surprisingly in the same server as Pie. Though it’s weird she mentioned my name in hopes that I would candle run with her and that I wouldn’t break that promise. When she saw me I got online she immediately ran to the igloo. Continuously talking to said ‘Sarah’ or ‘Sash’ and this time ‘Yuji’. Gosh, it’s getting weirder and weirder! I even asked her what she meant about me making a promise and not breaking it. She just said “Sorry I’m just so upset” and then immediately ran off.

The list goes on.. but I believe with these 5 points I’m sure I’m not a crazy new player who’s getting a ‘rare’ glitch, am I?

I’m also about to unfriend this sky player because ain’t no way I’ve been there with her and she just ignores me just because I began making new friends and making ACTUAL conversations. I’ve been kind to Pie and I do not know if she maybe is just a kid pretending to this — or she has some real issues. No ill intent for her, but no way Pie used my name to randomly talk to a sky friend of hers that doesn’t exist. ⚰️
