Poor Performance on Jak 2 & 3 Recently

Anyone else experiencing poor or decreased performance on Jak 2 and 3 through PCSX2 recently? I played through these games perfectly before and felt like re playing them but getting real bad dips into the 40’s in frames. I’m playing through EmuDeck / steam rom manager, default settings with a 2x resolution, per game user profile but no changes to default steam performance settings. I haven’t tried any other games to say it’s all my PS2 games but just throwing it out there in case anyone else is experiencing this with these specific games.
