Recertification on SAVE

I opted in to auto annual recertification on August of 2023 when I applied to Save. When I sign in to Ed financial I get an alert that my recertification is due by Dec 15 2024. Do I wait and see if it automatically does it or do I recertify manually? I tried doing it manually and it didn't even give me the option to link the IRS site; it wanting an uploaded document. I backed out. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks
