Runtz - JTs Jungle

“Runtz” - (Zkittlez x Gelato)

This flower is mostly all diff shades of purple, violet, lavendar for the most part in color. There are area where some greens shine thru. It has bright orange stigmas and a dense coating of trichomes that set off against the purple back flower color.

This flower is tightly trimmed, and has a medium/hard density. Tree / pinecone structure with visible curves on the nugs. The flower itself is a bit greasy for the external feel, and has some tackiness as it’s broken down. Decent moisture content and snap. Calyx’s come apart nicely. Could use a bit of a stickiness improvement but idk the age of this flower either. Not dry or anything, just feel could improve as a freshness aspect externally.

The flower has nice terps on it. It’s classic “Runtz” - a sweet and creamy (candy/fruit) specifically like berry/grape, lavender gassiness. A touch of that pungent earthiness in there. There is a little bit of that fruity pebbles / fruit loops cereal and milk type of scent. When broken down the fruit notes get a touch more sour/sharp to the senses.

The taste is an initial sweet creamy earthy sorta pungent gassiness, herbal notes from the lavender, “that purple” lol, a bit of that berry/grape note more on the creamy side than anything sour/sharp in the taste.

The flower is a bit throaty. Decently smooth though. So that would be my only other critique would be a tad throaty. Not bad but noticeable in glass.

The effects are a nice relaxed anthocyanin ridden relaxed, indica heavy hybrid feel… chill and heavy behind the eyes. Body gets kinda heavy. Exactly what ya want from the strain. Nice terps on this one. Where it may lack in the initial touch and a tad throaty, she makes up for in smell/taste for sure. Nice one @jtsjungle - my #117 company/farm tried!
