Autopark straight in vs backing in

For the life of me, can not figure out how to autopark straight-in head-first into a space vs needing to back into it.

Instead, I get people losing their patience while my car takes it time backing its rear in the space like it's a show.

Anyone can help me figure out what I'm not seeing?
