The Views Bug

so we’ve all seen the problems w low views/engagement lately. is this really a bug? or just a permanent shift in how tiktok works?

I make 1 min dj mashup videos that typically average 70k, often higher, but lately my last like 6 uploads have just done terribly, even with high effort and knowing they’d perform well normally.

i’ve been privating them like an hour after each upload when they don’t go above 1k, and just trying again the next day with something different. still just not being pushed out to a fraction of viewers as usual.

should i just continue business as usual and upload daily without privating anything? is there escaping this? lol thanks
