7 months post op- forehead irregularities (repost)
7 months post op FFS- Forehead Irregularities
I posted this earlier but wanted to add more pictures. My boyfriend says it’s not that visible unless in very specific lighting….aka my bedroom and bars with overhead lighting that’s casts shadows. I’m feeling crazy because maybe I’m just hyper critical? I’ve posted additional photos two where the irregularities are very visible and two where it’s not. It’s just wild to me how different it looks. Wondering if I should just accept that perfection is not possible. These dents in my forehead appeared around 2 months after surgery.
I've raised my concerns with my surgeon multiple times, but each time he brushes it off, saying it's not that noticeable. While it may not be very obvious in some lighting t's extremely visible in others and it's causing me a lot of distress.
My insurance covered the procedure, which makes me feel hesitant to ask about potential fixes and not even sure a covered revision is possible.
I have another follow-up appointment in January, and I want to approach the situation with kindness but also be firm about my concerns and my dissatisfaction with the result. Does anyone have advice on how to address this with my surgeon or how to advocate for myself in a way that is respectful but also ensures my concerns are taken seriously? I’ve seen others mention similar issues with forehead irregularities, but I haven’t come across many updates or solutions.
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
