Little details everyone seems to miss?

One of my favorite genres of YouTube videos is “white women crying at Final Fantasy”

The thing I have noticed all but two of these have missed in my studies of these genre is, in my opinion, the sad cherry on top of the heartbreaking sundae that is the ending.

If you’ll recall during the lake scene, Tidus promises to Yuna that if she’s ever in trouble, to just whistle and he’ll come running.

What’s the first thing we see after the defeat of Sin and Tidus fading away?

Yuna on a pier, whistling to the ocean.

Everyone I’ve seen play and cry to FFX misses that detail save two in my experience, and that’s a shame because it’s just…yeah that’s really fucking sad
