Franchise you want to see an absolute/ultimate version of?

Not necessarily in terms of making it darker, but an alternative continuity that isn't shackled by past lore and instead it's able to pick and choose which elements of mythos it wants to keep, which it wants to change and to what degree and what it wants to get rid of and not explore. It would also allow the writers to build brand new elements and allow retelling of classic stories in new ways and directions.

In my opinion star wars would be perfect example for something like that.

I have some ideas like remnants of the jedi after order 66 creating a brand new (but smaller) faction of force users that would follow the jedi lessons in extreme ways because of seeing not following them as the cause of their fall. I imagine they would "bleach" their kyber crystal making them grey and become themselves soulless machines hunting dark side users.

I would also bring in different force using factions and cultures with their own perception of the force. (no midichlorians)

I also thought of still having Anakin becoming Darth Vader, but also revealing that there are 3 different "Vaders" existing at the same time to bring the feeling of mystery from the original movie. Like, imagine how people would react to Anakin as classic Vader entering a room and there stand 2 other Vaders with helmets a bit different.

That's the general idea anyway. It would be called Star Wars Reimagined or Star Wars Retold or something like that. Comics would be the best medium in my opinion.
