Does anyone else hide from mail/voicemail/emails?
Recently I self-diagnosed and then sought out therapy for ADHD (which confirmed my suspicions). Now I am playing this fun game of "guess who" with the anxiety I have been treated for since 200? and my ADHD.
So... If you receive a piece of mail, a voicemail or an email which necessitates a response (but you don't want to deal with it) do you kind of bury it and try to pretend it will just go away? And then do you get panicky and weird about checking your mail/voicemail/email in case this buried un-treasure pops up? Does it get worse the longer you don't respond to it? Like a growing, gnawing sickness in your stomach? Once I do eventually respond, it feels like the weight of the world is lifted off of my shoulders, but it can take me days or weeks to get there.
Just looking to see if anyone else goes through this cycle. :/
UDPATE: Thank you for the responses of solidarity, I feel heard on this one! I'll add a funny story about this problem and my EZ-Pass crimes under a post titled "Shit I Did While on ADHD" when I feel up to it. :)
